ROMANCE IS IN THE AIR

October kicked off in the most unforgettable way at Red Deer’s Romance Is in the Air signing. I’ve never experienced anything like it—an intimate, moody vibe brought to life with boudoir photos, ribbon aerialists, a live violinist, and a stunning rope artistry show.

But what truly made the night unforgettable was meeting so many incredible local Albertan authors and the readers who showed up with such warmth, excitement, and love for romance. Their energy filled the room and turned an already magical evening into something I’ll never forget.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us. I’m so grateful I got to meet you all, and I can’t wait to do it again at the next signing!

If you follow me on Threads, you might have caught my little Easter egg about the paranormal romance series I’ve been secretly working on which is set to launch once the Saltwater Springs series wraps up next year. 👀

All I can share is, it’s a cozy-spicy, fall-kissed paranormal romance perfect for fans of Practical Magic, The Vampire Diaries, and Gilmore Girls.

I can’t wait to finally start teasing this world, and the cover (it is absolutely drop-dead GORGEOUS). There’s so much more to reveal soon.

ANNUAL PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY

I’m the official keeper of Fall magic in my family 🍂 One of my favourite traditions is hosting a pumpkin-carving party for all the kiddos — and these two pumpkins definitely stole the show this year. Growing up, carving pumpkins was my favourite part of fall, and I love passing that magic on.

WHAT I’M LOVING LATELY

One of my most anticipated reads of the year, If It Makes You Happy by Julie Olivia, has officially rocketed to the top of my Books of the Year list. This ’90s, slow-burn, autumn romance is everything I never knew I needed. It’s refreshing, vividly descriptive (like the story was unfolding as a movie right in my mind), and packed with all the cozy, feel-good, festive vibes I’ve been craving.

Ten out of ten stars. Highly, highly recommend picking it up if you haven’t already!!
